Adam Hart is a licensed Professional Engineer with extensive experience in the commercial and residential building industries. Our firm provides a superior service to our clients with an emphasis on project "cradle-to-grave" ownership and client satisfaction. Our professional experiences include design on Restaurants, Churches, Retail, Residential, Schools k-12, Colleges, Hospitals & Medical Office buildings.
We pride ourselves in working directly with all trades to develop clear communication & to execute a consistent high quality of construction. This "Design Team" approach enables us to have success on every project big & small. Our client portfolio includes developers, contractors, architects, building owners & end users, community groups, federal, state and county agencies and local municipalities.

Amy Hart
Design Lead/ Managing Partner
Amy Hart graduated from the University of Florida earning a Bachelor's degree in the Arts with post baccalaureate studies in Interior Design with the University of Florida College of Architecture.
Amy started her career with a local interiors company in Gainesville where her responsibilities included client management & interior furnishings and design.
After moving to Virginia, Amy continued offering her services with an eclectic old world furnishings company where she was responsible for working directly with high profile clients on space design and selection of interior furnishings & accessories. This unique experience exposed Amy to highline manufacturing companies and luxurious fabrics.
Moving back to Florida in 2003, Amy started working for an international cabinet manufacturing company performing design and specification for custom kitchens, bathrooms, and closets. As the Design Lead, Amy was responsible for working directly with the clients & managing a team of designers.
Amy now works side-by-side with Adam Hart, PE performing space planning, interior design, and client material specification. Her unique background enables her to work closely with the client in space planning and design, and the specification of interior furnishings and materials.

After more than 20 years in the construction industry, Ray graduated from Ft Myers Institute of Technology and started working for HRC Designs in 2014, specializing in Commercial & Residential Engineering Design & Drafting , Mechanical Energy Calculations, Heat Loads

Principal Engineer/ Managing Partner
Adam Hart is a Professional Engineer specializing in building and building systems design. Over the years, Adam has developed a diverse background in multiple disciplines with projects located in more than 13 different states, and 2 countries.
Adam started his career in the US Army as a Fire Directions Specialist. Using pure physics, he was responsible for calculating the required forces and directional trajectory data to accurately deliver artillery rounds onto targets located miles away and out-of-site. This experience required a significant amount of communication and teamwork, which would later lay the foundation for what is hrcd today. After active duty service, Adam continued his service with the Florida Army National Guard, while attending the University of Florida College of Engineering.
While in college, Adam continued his team work focus working as a design team member with the Formula SAE program (www.gatormotorsports.com) - an international collegiate competitive program for the design and fabrication of a hand built formula1 style race cars.
Adam's first engineering position held was for Transocean Offshore, a global leader in offshore drilling & exploration, working on structural design and vessel commissioning for deep water drilling/exploration ships and semi-submersibles.
After earning his BSME, Adam & his family moved from Florida to Virginia where he specialized in the design and specification for new schools k-12, prisons, municipal buildings, colleges, retail department stores and hospitals. In 2003, Adam moved back home to Florida, where he expanded his services to include multiple disciplines.
Today, our firm continues to offer a high-class service to our clients focusing on their needs and satisfaction. We are a family based company where all of our clients are treated with the same high level of commitment and respect.

Olivia has been a valued member of the HRC Designs team since 2019 and specializes in Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Design Engineering for Commercial and Residential Projects. She has recently graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is starting her new career as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy.
